In her material-oriented practice, Heidi Lillevang strives to merge sustainability and traditional craftsmanship, by using locally sourced clay and leftover materials from the production of glass.
Her work is based on an appreciation of traditional ceramic techniques, while taking an experimental approach to challenge the perceived boundaries of the used materials.
Heidi graduated from Aarhus Academy of Fine Arts in 2021, specialising in ceramics. She currently lives and works in Copenhagen.
