Third Orbit
The sculpture Third Orbit is part of the project Endogeny, which explores the autobiographical concept of personality as layered by natural cycles and shaped by the juxtaposition of external and internal expectations, along with societal influences.
Each Orbit is constructed from numerous individual bits of molten glass, created in a trancelike collaboration between the artist and her assistant. Each bit symbolises an experience, event, or lesson learned, all in symbiosis to form the complex personality of a human being.
