ena’s flower garden

Inspired by Karen Blixen and Hilma af Klint's common appreciation of the natural world, we have created ena's flower garden, where we appreciate the myriad of colours, shapes and life in and around the flowers on a daily basis. We also hope to contribute to the movement of organic flower farming, by offering beautiful flower arrangements in the spring and summer.

Events

Our events are also about appreciating our natural world and environment. Our Art Walks will explore nature as an exhibition space, while learning about native plants and wildlife. Our Seasonal Tables will host local chefs to conduct an evening based on native, in season produce, along with one of our artists, providing a unique artistic culinary experience.

Gallery

Currently, ena strand can only be experienced online. While we find that very exciting, it is our intention to establish a gallery space at our property in Tversted. While we are taking our time to ensure the space ends up just the way we want it, we will set up pop up exhibitions, events and art talks, using our current studio space, as well as surrounding venues and nature.

Glassblowing

Glassblowing is at the heart of ena strand's identity. Our founder uses glass in her practice, and as it is the objective to work as sustainably as possible, ena strand is working towards opening a fully electric glassblowing studio run on renewable energy. It is an important project, which we are extremely excited about. We hope to have it up and running by 2025.
